That is due to the following properties:
Integrity: resistance to freezing. Resistance to abrupt changes in temperature. Resistance to flexion (fixed loads) to impact, to abrasion and wear through intensive use or by wheels (mobile loads).
Safety: There is practically no water absorbtion (expansion due to humidity is insignificant). It is non-combustible and there is no danger in the event of fire. It is electrically safe (an electronic insulator) and is recommended for buildings where the use of non-absorbing materials that do not retain water or humidity are necessary.
Healthy and Hygenic: Optimum conditions for acheiving impermeability to water, which is essential in situatons where water is continuousley present, so as not facilitate the development of germs and funghi.
